This bridge building is connected to squarehouse to the carpark next to NIDA theatres. This is to create a convenient way for students to pass from one side of the building to the otherside of the road, and allowing them to travel to either NIDA easily, or their cars.
The lecture room is spread out evenly, with glass on the top sides of the building and the left side, allowing natural lighting to travel through, and for students and teachers to learn and teach in a comfortable environment.
Connected to the first level of the building, there is an outdoor space, that is half shaded for people who do not like the sun as much. The other indoor spaces shown next to this outdoor area includes offices and opening meeting spots, and studio spaces for students and staff to use and share amongst each other. It is designed to be an open space to allow students and staff to communicate easier and to hopefully obtain more social skills and confidence.
The deep bay glass windows that cave out provides a nice view for the staff and students whilst also keeping them out of the sun in summers.
The studio spaces, meeting rooms and staff rooms building then leads to the library and research place or the workshop. The gallery is located at the corridor that connects these spaces together.
